History of educational values
The Aleardo
Aleardi Institute was founded in Verona in 1948 and as such has
consolidated over 50 years of experience in the education of young
people.
The original site was in Via
Giberti, a prestigious building mirroring the style of some of the best
anglo-saxon colleges, offering modern services and facilities including
open-air sports grounds, gymnasium, a theatre and cinema, language
laboratories, ITC and many more.
A privately-owned school, the
Aleardo Aleardi Institute has been awarded parity status (Italian law
n.62/00) and is, therefore, an integral part of the Italian National
Education System, and an exam centre with internal examinators for all
national school exams.
The school is now situated in Via
Segantini, in a central part of the city, easily reached by both public
and private methods of transport.
The Aleardi Aleardi Institute aims to interpret the requirements on
education of the families of today's children helping young people grow
both intellectually and personally. Students are prepared for the
challenges that they will face in the rapidly changing future, through
an education which takes tradition, the country's political and social
values and the needs of young people growing continually into
consideration.
