International Nursery and Reception

The International Nursery and Reception is the only school in Verona recognised by the ECIS, European Council of International Schools. ECIS is the most important association of international schools worldwide and accepts only schools of a high standard.

The International nursery and reception is aimed at children of 3-5 years. The structure of the school is based on the integration of both Italian and International programmes whilst utilising English teaching methodology and didactic approach.

The infant section is divided into a nursery for 3-4 year olds and a reception for 5 year olds. The children have the opportunity to spend their day learning in a varied and educationally stimulating environment, benefiting from both mother tongue English and Italian teachers. The children are encouraged to learn through stories, drama, mime, dance, games, art, music and school trips. A relaxed, playful, fun and caring environment embraces the children thus allowing them to absorb the language easily and spontaneously.
